Winnie the Pooh Gets A Star In Hollywood

Winnie the Pooh, a favorite with children for the past 80 years, has now received a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Hollywood gives stars to the most famous actors and actress in the history of American films. However, there are only a few stars for animated characters. Other animated characters that have been given a star are Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Snow White. Winnie the Pooh and his friends Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit and Tigger was written by AA Milne and first appeared in The London Evening News in 1926.
