Does pratice really make perfect in learning English?

For the topic today, my answer is no.

Please read the paragraph from antimoon.com

You can damage your English by writing and speaking

Your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation can get worse because of practice. When you speak or write and you make mistakes, you teach yourself bad habits. These bad habits may be difficult to eliminate. The solution is simple: Avoid mistakes! Try to say or write only correct English sentences.

I was told writing is imitating when I was in college. By imitating, we can learn how to write correct sentences and make less mistakes. I was also recommended to memorize articles in order to learn the way the author express his feelings. They are still useful today for my learning of English.
